As a Software Engineering Director for AMG within PNC's Technology organization, you will sit within one of PNC's technology and innovation hubs. This role is a leader of technology leaders providing roadmaps, strategy and solutions to solve for critical business initiatives within our Investments, Private Bank and Asset Management groups who are focusing on client acquisition and retention. Partnering closely with business leaders to understand their needs and goals will be vital for developing and delivering on new and modernizing current applications.
To successfully deliver these technical solutions, this will require both direct supervisory organization prioritization & execution alongside coordinating with enterprise centers of excellence and delivery teams to achieve business objectives on time and on budget. This role will specialize in creating processes and software which will automate systems for efficiencies and cost reduction.As a leader, you will utilize your deep technology abilities with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), application engineering and architecture while applying your understanding of the products and services within one or more of the bank's segments of business.
Additionally, you will have experience as/with: Technology Engineering Delivery Leader with a strong track record of delivering critical complex strategic initiatives that clearly tie back to business value/outcomes. Strong understanding of development frameworks, event streaming processes, operational data store Understanding of the Asset Management Business Line Understanding of the emerging technology trends in the Financial Services industry and an ability to implement new technologies as a way to enable or accelerate business outcomes. Drive a Risk culture that priorities risk reduction and adherence to ever changing regulatory requirements alongside business outcomes Responsible for Vendor management for both application/SaaS solutions as well as third party supplemental delivery capacity management.
