We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Audit Manager in the manufacturing industry, located in North Canton, Ohio. As the IT Audit Manager, you will be leading the planning, execution, and reporting of IT audits, managing risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
This role is crucial in providing insights, advice, and assurance related to key and emerging IT technologies and risks.Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive audit plans and strategies to assess the effectiveness of IT systems, controls, and processes. Identify potential risks to the organization's IT systems and develop strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to schedule audits, conduct fieldwork, analyze findings, and prepare detailed audit reports that outline observations, recommendations, and action plans for remediation. Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and risk assessments to senior management, audit committees, and other relevant stakeholders, facilitating discussions, providing insights, and collaborating on action plans to address identified issues. Oversee internal and co-sourced auditors, providing guidance, direction, and mentorship to ensure audits are conducted efficiently and effectively.
Develop knowledge of IT governance and compliance frameworks such as COBIT and ITIL. Develop understanding of IT risks and the ability to prioritize them based on potential impact. Develop proficiency in SAP and other information technology tools and systems.
Requirements Must have a minimum of five years of experience in the IT auditing field, specifically within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in IT Governance is required. Knowledge and experience with SAP is necessary.
Must demonstrate a strong understanding of IT risks and how to mitigate them. Candidates must be able to effectively manage and lead a team. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
Must have a proven track record of managing and executing IT audits. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary. Must have a good understanding of IT frameworks and standards.
A relevant certification such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) is preferred. Excellent project management skills are required. Experience with data analysis tools will be considered an asset.
