We are looking for a Senior Manager, Delivery Management to join our team! In this role, you will focus on driving and accelerating the delivery of business outcomes for the IP segment related to product delivery and operations, focused on the Patent Intelligence portfolio and related programs. The successful candidate will manage a group of delivery managers/scrum masters, and be responsible for planning, executing and reporting on the portfolio, programs and constituting projects across the Patent Intelligence business and IP segment.
This includes but is not limited to setting up and running program operating rhythms, annual portfolio planning, program planning, setting up managing budgets, forecasts and costs, setting up and driving delivery processes and governance to improve delivery performance, and dealing with project and program escalations with internal and external groups, senior management and executives.About you- experience, education, skillsBachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience10+ Years of Relevant Experience5+ years of experience managing technology projects or software developmentProject Management related certification (PMP, Agile, etc.)It would be great if you also have Experience leading mid to large scale project and program management experience developing complex schedules, coordinating cross-functional teams, and leading executionProven experience of direct reports/team management experience including offshore developmentSolid knowledge of using dashboards, data and visualization tools such as PowerBI and Excel to define, measure and create actionable insights for outcome creation and accelerationCertification preferred - Either in Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework or Agile product development methodologies (Kanban, Scrum etc.
)What you will be doing in this role Lead roadmap planning, steering committees and other meetings with senior leadership and stakeholders.Ensure projects are correctly defined, measured, and tracked against appropriate KPIs, and regularly reviews progress and stakeholder satisfactionPartner with functional leaders in Product, Engineering, and Operations, and other teams to define process, calibrate resources, foster buy-in, and ensure timely progress of projectsWork with vendors, clients, and other business partners to negotiate SoWs, resources and project plans process for the assigned programs and projects.Lead end to end program management function including portfolio management, process development, priority alignment, project tools, and communication/reporting channelsAnalyze key data to design and deploy process improvements across the IP Brand business segment, ensure consistent alignment of effort, and maximize efficiencies across projectsManage project risks, develop mitigation plans and resolve problems impacting project completion, proactively resolving project issues, and escalating to management when necessaryWorks with multiple technology, business, and delivery teams, be accountable for the planning, management, delivery, and reporting for all project work in the shared services technology group.
